Welcome to SkullPaddler.com...

My name is Rob, and  I created my SkullPaddler “logo/brand”  in 2004 before skulls & paddles were cool… I live in St. Louis and love to camp, mtn bike, and paddle my kayak with my wife. We love the outdoors and together we have had many adventures. For those of you that know, Stacy was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in June of 2021, and we fought the battle through Oct-2022 at which time Stacy was declared Cancer Free; the post treatment targeted therapy was tougher than all of the treatments she we received with a minimal increased percentage that HER2 would not return (i.e.: very low post treatment help), so we made a choice to choose quality of life over continued targeted therapy treatment. We will continue to be aware of changes that may signal the return of HER2 gene/breast cancer. But we have faith in God and especially the medical treatment received that Stacy will continue to stay Cancer-Free! During her treatments, which we had been doing through Siteman Cancer Center, we had the support of the amazing Barnes/Wash-U Doctors and Staff, so we want to continue to raise awareness for not just Breast Cancer, but all forms of cancer… ALL CANCERS SUCK!

In late 2022 my Aunt Sandy (Dad’s sister) was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and we lost her on February, 9, 2023; she was a great person and was very special to me as well as the rest of the family. Three of her Grandsons will be joining me on the MR340 Paddle Adventure to help raise awareness and help raise money to fight cancer. Her oldest grandson Brandon Powers participated in the race last year with his friend Adam Jordan, they paddled tandem in a canoe; and they did very well and are paddling again in 2023. This year, Sandy’s other grandsons Greg and Brandon Meyer, paddling tandem in a canoe as well and are looking forward to the challenge and adventure

We are paddling to raise money for two Non-Profits;  Love Like Jackson and for Siteman Cancer Center, help bring awareness to ALL TYPES OF CANCER, as well as picking up where I left off last season by continuing to Cancer Ribbons to my kayak to help share the stories of cancer fighters.

Thank you for your support!
